The University offers three Graduate Education programs and a Transition to Teaching program.
• The Master of Arts in Teaching program is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree in a content area and have decided to enter the secondary teaching field. Persons with a 2.5 GPA may earn licensure in the following content areas: Modern Languages, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences, Business, Social Studies, Visual Arts, Health/Physical Education, Music, and Theatre.
• The Transition to Teaching program is designed for qualified persons with an undergraduate degree in a content area who wish to obtain initial teacher licensure at the secondary level. Persons with a 3.0 GPA may earn licensure in the following content areas: Modern Languages, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences, Business, Social Studies, Visual Arts, Health/Physical Education, Music and Theatre.
• The Master of Arts in Educational Leadership is a cohort program that is designed for those who have a current teaching license and have an interest in becoming a School Principal.
• The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction is designed for current Teachers who want to refine and advance their practice.
